Day One-12 Days of Christmas Gift Suggestions

Christmas is just around the corner Bobbie Noonan's Child Care is excited to offer some teacher recommended suggestions for gifts.

The 15 month old-2 years olds in our Nursery and Young Nursery love to learn shapes and matching with a simple shape sorter. Shape sorters can be found at Toy R Us, Target, Walmart, and many other stores.

This Tolo Shape Sorter combines shorting shapes and motor skills. It can be found at Toys R Us or for a bargain online.

The children in our 3 year old room LOVE to use their imagination, especially while playing dress-up. Dress-Up clothes are a creative way for 3 year olds, both boys and girls, to play pretend.

In the Pre-K room, the children are continuing to brainstorm "What am I going to be when I grow up?" Bobbie Noonan's recommends a doctor or veterinarian  kit for a 4 year old child. At some of our locations we have been lucky enough to have parents donate real stethoscopes and scrubs. The children love to help others out while pretending to be a doctor or vet.

Fisher Price makes one of our favorite doctor's kits.

Hasbro LiteBrite is a popular toy in the Kindergarten Room. LiteBrite can be found at Sears, Target, KMart, and Toys R Us. The small pegs help children with fine motor skills while having fun making a LIGHT UP creation.
